Founded by Dr. Ramagiri Balaji, our center represents a shift away from the "volume first" model of cardiology. We operate on the principle that the most important diagnostic tool is often a thorough patient history and a senior clinical eye.
Since 2008, Dr. Balaji has served as HOD and Director of Cathlab at AMS/DDH. Balaji Heart Center is his private practice — where he brings that same level of senior interventional expertise to a more personal, unhurried consulting environment.

Our approach to cardiology
We specialise in the full spectrum of adult cardiology, with a particular focus on hypertension and coronary artery disease. Our clinical path follows three steps:
- Clarity: Rapid diagnostics (ECG, ECHO, TMT) completed and interpreted in the same visit.
- Strategy: Evidence-based medication, lifestyle intervention, and a written plan.
- Coordination: When procedures like stenting or bypass are needed, structured referrals with continued post-procedure care.
The facility
Located on the ground floor at Chanda Nagar, our clinic is designed for accessibility and clinical efficiency. The 1,100 sq ft floor includes dedicated consultation rooms, a diagnostic suite with Sonosite equipment, and an in-house biochemistry lab.
We are currently in the process of NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers) accreditation to further solidify our commitment to quality and safety standards.
